What is Cactus Grandiflorus
Cactus grandiflorus is a species of cactus that is a member of the Cactaceae family. It is also known as Queen of the Night or Night-Blooming Cereus.
Cactus grandiflorus is a spreading or climbing cactus with stems that can reach a length of several metres. The stems have sharp spines around the margins and are segmented and green. The plant produces huge, spectacular blooms that are often white or cream in colour and bloom at night. The blossoms may grow as large as 15 to 30 centimetres (6 to 12 inches) in diameter and are fragrant.
