- A form of fungus in the Agaricaceae family, Agaricus muscarius is also known as the fly agaric or fly amanita.
- The Agaricus muscarius(fly agaric mushroom) often has a big cap that can be bright red, orange, or yellow in colour. The cap often has white or yellowish warts covering it, and its diameter ranges from 2 to 20 centimetres (5 to 8 inches). The stem is white and might have a ring that resembles a skirt towards the top.
