Cramp bark is a flowering shrub local to Europe, North America, and elements of Asia and Africa. It has some other names you may come across, which include guelder rose, highbush cranberry, and snowball tree.
The most commonly used part of the cramp bark plant for medicinal purposes is the dried bark, although from time to time the bark or even the flowers are covered in supplements.
